Shipping Costs & Delivery Times
For your convenience, you can choose at checkout to ship via door-to-door courier or Postnet counter-counter, or collect for free in Tableview. Get free economy courier & discounted alternative delivery methods on orders over R400!
Shipping costs:
– Door-to-door economy courier: R60 flat fee nationwide; free for orders over R400. 2-5 working days from time of dispatch depending on location.
– Door-to-door express courier: R125 flat fee nationwide; discounted to R65 for orders over R400. 1-3 working days from time of dispatch depending on location (main centres usually next day).
– Postnet-to-Postnet: R99 flat fee nationwide; discounted to R39 for orders over R400. 2-4 working days from time of dispatch.
– Collection in Cape Town (Tableview): Free
All of my orders are packaged by me with great care, and all of my prints are made to order in-studio. For this reason it can take some time to prepare, package and dispatch your orders. Orders without customisations will be dispatched within 1-2 days of your order being placed. Orders with customisations may take longer depending on the volume of work. If I anticipate a time longer than 1-2 days to dispatch, I will contact you to discuss. If there is a specific rush, please let me know and I will try my best to accommodate you.
It is your responsibility to ensure the correct address & contact details are provided to me. I cannot accept liability for any additional delivery costs arising when incorrect details are provided, or following failed delivery attempts.
Packaging Methods
All paintings, A5 & A4 prints are shipped flat. A3 prints are shipped rolled in a shipping tube. This means the print will have a slight curl to it when taken out. It should flatten with some time out of the tube and can be framed with no issue. If shipping a print rolled is a problem, please contact me immediately after placing your order so that I can accommodate you.
Returns & Refund Policy
Returns will be accepted in the following circumstances:
- If you find that the product is damaged on delivery, you have 7 days to return it. Please take photographs immediately after receipt/opening of the package and send pictures & a description of the problem to shop@jenmakeslines.co.za. If you see the outside of the packaging is damaged, please take photographs before opening the packaging. You will receive a full refund, store credit, or a replacement where possible (your choice).
- If you’ve changed your mind about your purchase, you have 7 days to return it for a refund but you will be responsible for return courier costs. The product must be returned in its original packaging and original condition. The cost of the product will be refunded; the shipping cost will not be refunded.
- Loss in transit/non-delivery of a package where correct details were provided: you are entitled to a full refund or, in the case of prints, a replacement.
Please Note
Painting sizes provided are the size of the full sheet (including any white border around the painted area).
It is recommended that frames are only bought after receiving a painting, to ensure that the frame properly fits the paintings & complements the colours (often cheaper commercially available frames have extremely bright cool white mat boards that clash with the gorgeous slightly creamy white of the cotton paper).
Not all paintings are standard framing sizes (ie you may not be able to walk into a shop and buy a frame that fits). In this case custom framing is recommended, alternatively a framer can mount the painting with a mat board that fits a standard frame. Common standard framing sizes in SA are: 10x15cm, 13x18cm, 15x20cm, 20x30cm, 21×29.7cm (A4), 30x40cm, 30x42cm (A3) etc. Please bear this in mind when buying an irregular-sized painting.
