This was painted during the throes of lockdown-induced wanderlust. I could feel it – the foresty humidity, the perfect duality of pure silence and the roar of the waterfall; the mossy loamy smell; the dappled light; the warmth of the day cooled by the air flowing off the water. Delicious.
