It was a toss-up between that and Symbiotteric.
An otter skull supporting coral and kelp – this idea was initially sparked many moons ago when I watched the “Coastal Seas” episode of Our Planet which featured many an otter, as well as stunning coral reefs and kelp forests. I know that the kelp forest and coral biomes don’t really mix but I wanted to bring all of these beautiful elements of our oceans together for this painting, and celebrate all as one. Despite not occurring at the same geographical site, I am sure they interlink and influence each other more than we could ever imagine.
This painting has beautiful glittery embellishments on the fish & coral that catch the light.
